Hybrid Foam-in-Cell Mattress (Inc Pump)

The Stellar II Hybrid Mattress System is a Hybrid Foam in Cell (FiC) mattress replacement system. The system combines high specification foam technology integrated inside dynamic alternating air cells. This provide pressure redistribution promoting immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface to optimise patient comfort.

The system can accommodate patients assessed to be up to very high risk of developing pressure injuries or have existing tissue damage up to category IV with a patient weight limit of up to 250kg.

This provide pressure redistribution promoting immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface and optimise patient comfort.
• Advanced IPM Technology: Intelligent Pressure Management (IPM) Technology monitors, detects and automatically responds to changes in patient weight, position and posture minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patient’s skin. IPM technology saves power during cycling times - reducing stock and maintenance costs.
• Silent Pump Operation: ‘Whisper Quiet’ pump operation to minimise patient disturbance.
• Designed for infection control and easy maintenance: Antimicrobial, waterproof, multi-stretch cover and base sheet are easy to clean, feature welded seams and handles, easy grip straps, cable management conduits and 360° zip for easy removal of top cover.
• Dual Therapy Modes: The System can be used in two modes, static mode without the need for a power unit providing protection to patients at risk of developing an ulcer/pressure injury or in dynamic alternating mode by simply adding the power unit when a higher level of treatment is required. Both modes provide pressure redistribution minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patients skin.
