The Rocket Medical HyView® HSG & HyCoSy Balloon Catheter is designed for safe and reliable uterine cannulation during Hysterosalpingography (HSG) and Hysterosalpingo Contrast Sonography (HyCoSy) procedures. Engineered for excellent performance with both oil-based contrast media (including Lipiodol® Ultra Fluid) and aqueous contrast agents, the HyView catheter supports accurate assessment of the uterine cavity and fallopian tube patency during infertility investigations. Compatibility with oil- and water-based media has been verified for procedures lasting up to 60 minutes.
Designed with clinician usability and patient comfort in mind, the catheter features a low-profile latex-free balloon, a closed tip with side port, and an integrated stopcock for convenient administration of imaging media. Each catheter is supplied sterile for single use and includes an insertion sheath and inflation syringe to streamline procedural setup.
The R57432 is supplied as a standard 5Fr catheter, while the R57432-00-ST incorporates an integrated malleable wire stylet that can be shaped to suit individual patient anatomy, helping facilitate insertion in more challenging cervical anatomy.
